Within work package 6: Developing solutions for local IT sector, UCASTI incubator conducted the final event of the pre-incubation phase for the graduation projects from all Palestinian partner universities. The training day started by a session entitled “Presentation Content” presented by Mohammed Afifi who explained to all groups how to prepare the content of project presentation, followed by Mentorship Sessions by Mentors &Team Leaders then Eng. Hani AbuAmer talked about the Pitching Skills that should be considered.
On 2 April 2019, BITPAL organized short training within work package 5.1 on Producing resources for online learning. The short training provide guidance on designing and developing an e-learning course for trainers and instructional designers especially to who are new to e-learning design. It also provides basic concepts and information on the processes and resources involved in e-learning development, which might be of interest to capacity-development managers.
On January 14, 2019, the Director of the National Erasmus+ Office, Dr. Nedal Jayousi, conducted an advisory field monitoring mission to the CBHE funded project 574131-EPP-1-2016-1-PS-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP Boosting Innovation in Curricula Development of IT Programs in Palestine (BITPAL) with the presence of the UCAS President, Prof. Refat Rustom.

Business and technology Incubator (BTI) at the Islamic University of Gaza launches the second batch of training in entrepreneurship and Freelancing course as part of BITPAL project activities. On 8 May 2018, the BITPAL Coordinator, University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS) in collaboration with The Faculty of Information Studies (FIS) organized the fourth training mission for the Palestinian partners in Ljubljana, Slovenia at The Faculty of Information Studies (FIS).
BITPAL project launches an intensive training course in the fields of modern technologies and technology transfer mechanisms at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences. The course includes qualitative lectures and field visits to laboratories, centers of excellence and research offices in Leipzig.
Dr. Ahmed Abdalaal, BITPAL Project Manager, talked about the importance of this visit as it helps the academics to keep pace with the modern techniques and provides the chance to connect the Palestinian universities with the German research institutions.
On 2 May 2018, the BITPAL Coordinator, University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS) in collaboration with Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK) organized the third training mission for the Palestinian partners in Leipzig-Germany at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK). Participants from Al-Azhar University, Al-Aqsa University, University College of Applied Sciences, Gaza University and PITA attended the training mission that lasts in the period 2-6 May 2018.
On 30 April 2018, at the German Leipzig University, Dr. Ahmed Abdalaal, BITPAL Project Coordinator, at the University College of Applied Science - UCAS, meets prof. Klaus Haenssgen, the Project Coordinator of the European Union.
Dr. Abdalaal stated that the visit included a review of the activities of BITPAL project and the ongoing preparations for the next training course for a group of the staff of the Palestinian universities and the partners in the project, Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies - PITA.
